Where do you get your dog beds and what kind do you have?

I was just looking at some online and thinking of getting one of the sofa kind of beds for my Boxer. He has a huge pillow right now and I wanted to get him something thicker. What kind does your dog have?

We have one that looks like a flatter version of a sofa. It has a ledge all around the back and sides and an open front. Ours is HUGE because I wanted something all three of my dogs could sleep on. They also have smaller round beds in my room and a covered cushion in a crate.
The biggest thing that I learned the hard way, is to get something that has a removable cover and is machine washable. I had a few that didn’t and I didn’t really understand the point. It is a dog bed. Dogs get smelly, dirty, they shed…why would I want a bed that I can’t wash easily?
There are a lot on the market right now and for my big bed I paid over $100, but it was exactly what I was looking for. My dogs love the "arms" of the bed and the thickness, but it comes apart and breaks down for a machine wash. My other small beds cost me around $20-$40 and are actually harder to wash!
Going into a petstore and taking a look around is a good idea. You can play with it and touch and feel what you are buying. If you find something you like, write the name down and search for it online for cheaper. Usually though, once you add in shipping, it isn’t always cheaper.
Good luck finding something you and your doggy like.
Well, i have a crate with a cushion inside, and then in my room i have a giant squishy pillow that i got at walmart for $15 bucks.
She lays on the floor most the time..so it’s win win.

Mine have crib mattresses with crib sheets over them for day beds, {my big dogs} and all of them have individual crates with baby quilts in them. I get them at thrift stores and yard sales.
My little dogs have those donut beds for their day beds.
We pamper our dog, so she has three beds in different rooms plus her crate. Dogs tend to "make their bed" as they begin to lie down; they scratch and turn in circles until, in their mind at least, they have "made their bed." If you get the cheap beds that are just a layer of thick foam covered with teddy bear type cloth, they will end up tearing it apart. I suggest you go to a pet store where you can touch and feel the quality. It’s better to spend a little bit more to get something that will last rather than keep buying junk.
I just have a pillow bed for my dog, and the cover zips, so i can remove and wash it. I put a blanket underneath it, and a twin sized quilt folded on top. I just did this so that she would have a fluffier bed. I can wash the quilt when ever i want, and the actual dog bed stays clean.
I bought the blanket and quilt at goodwill – they are both like new!
Pet shop is the pale to get your doggie a bed.
However my doggie sleeps in my bed with me and my wife.
Large body pillows, got em for $7-$10 each.
I get mine from Dollar General. They sell large ones big enough for my rott mix for $15
They aren’t like super fancy or anything, but they do the job just fine.
I got my dog’s bed at Wal-Mart. He sleeps in his crate only at night–during the day he sleeps on the couch. It’s an inexpensive one–I wasn’t sure if he was a bed shredder or not when I got him. He’s not, but he seems to like it so I won’t change it. It was like $15.
